What I’m Trying to Do (My Mission)

I’m developing AI partners that can be integrated into all facets of work, focusing on outcomes to drive efficiency and clarity. Currently, I’m exploring how this AI can be applied across the full product lifecycle – from vision to deployment and beyond.

While I’m building out the complete product, I’m starting with the fundamentals: testing whether an AI partner truly adds value to how we perform our jobs.

About This Prototype

This tool is designed to guide and support building Product Vision Statements, Mission Statements, and high-level strategies through AI-powered collaboration. It acts as a one-to-one partner with a product person, offering a conversational and interactive experience focused on these aspects.

The goal of this experiment is simple: to see if this AI partner genuinely enhances the process.

Caveat: At this stage, there is a ‘persistent’ version that saves outputs and emails them to you, but for this test, I want you to try out the simplest version first.

Important Note

Many people view vision and strategy as high-level tasks only done at the beginning of a product journey. In reality, they’re far more fundamental. They frame the WHY / WHAT / HOW of any endeavor, whether it’s defining a feature, a user story, or setting weekly goals.

That’s the mindset I want this tool to foster – it’s here to help you gather and refine your thoughts, no matter the size of the project.

  2. Download the ChatGPT App: Make sure you have it installed on your phone. Download here
  3. Check for the Headphones or Microphone Symbol: Ensure the symbol is visible, indicating you have voice interaction enabled. Note: I am seeing different symbols here. I would like your feedback on how you access the converssation

4. Access Your GPT in the App: Open the menu, find the GPT in your list, and click on it.

5. Think of a simple product that you could explore: It doesn’t have to be a product, it could be any idea at all!

6. Start the Conversation: Click the headphones symbol to begin. Just ask it for help with your vision, and you’re ready to go. It should take the reins and go.

  • You can still use the tool with a keyboard. It’s just not as interactive as using it on the go!

2. What if I don’t have a paid ChatGPT account?

  • Unfortunately, you won’t be able to participate without a paid account at this time.

3. How long will this testing take?

  • It depends on your pace, but you can test it in short bursts, as and when you have time.  Just come back to that chat each time. I’ve put a compelling strategy together, including a Vision Statement and Mission in 30 mins while walking home.
